Kriya: Spinal Health Series
Meditation: Moon Kriya (Har)

Spinal health is important for a healthy life. The spine directly impacts our organ function by acting as a vital pathway for those nerve signals that travel between the brain and the rest of the body. Misalignments or blockages in the spine can disrupt these nerve signals, potentially leading to various organ-related issues. We begin the practice with a beneficial pranayam for brain fatigue.

The Moon Kriya Meditation uses the mantra Har and a moving mudra to assist in alleviating fatigue and bringing mental clarity.

Kriya: Energy Boost
Meditation: Memorization Meditation

This kriya works on your metabolism and helps to get the energy moving for the day. We give attention to the adrenals, thyroid, lungs, kidneys and naval center. It’s a great morning kriya to get up and get going!

The meditation is a beautiful devotional practice that has the added benefit of helping to improve memory and focus.

The word Amen is a simplified version of the mantra Aum. Judaism, Islam and Christian prayers end with Amen. The inner meaning of Amen is “In the name of God, so be it.” It has a purifying effect and helps the consciousness shift to a higher level.

Kriya: Healthy Back
Meditation: Meditation for Protection & Projection

We’ll be working the life nerve (hamstrings), strengthening our abs, and moving our back in various ways to keep the spine flexible and healthy.

We’ll be using the mantra Aad Guray Nameh for projection and protection.

Aad Guray Nameh
I bow to the primal wisdom.

Jugaad Guray Nameh
I bow to the wisdom throughout the ages.

Sat Guray Nameh
I bow to the true wisdom.

Siri Guru Deva Nameh
I bow to the great unseen wisdom.

Kriya: Disease Resistance
Meditation: Breath of Ten

This is the kriya and meditation our 40 Day participants will be practicing from October 10-November 18, 2022.

Since about 70% of our immune system is housed in the gut…we will be working our digestive system, the apana vayu (eliminating forces) and the glandular system. This helps build disease resistance as we enter the cold and flu season.

The meditation, Breath of Ten, is a 5 part segmented breath with a moving mudra, which works deeply on the adrenals to help with stress reduction. It is also effective in strengthening the immune system.

Kriya: Cleanse the Body & Disease Protection
Meditation: Kirtan Kriya

This kriya is considered preventative self-care, which can lead to a healthy long life. It is a full body workout, inside and out. It improves digestion, strengthens the aura and balances the body systems creating a calmer and more centered you.

Kirtan Kriya has been scientifically studied and is known to help prevent dementia and Alzheimer’s. This meditation is also beneficial for relief from stress, anxiety and depression.
Mantra:
Sa: Birth
Ta: Life
Na: Death
Ma: Rebirth

Kriya: Pranic Body for Vitality
Meditation: Balancing Mental Energy

The Pranic Body brings life force energy into your physical body through the breath. Mastery of the Pranic Body brings fearlessness, purity, and energy. You feel fully alive and vital with an abundance of energy to achieve your goals. If this body is weak, you may become fearful or defensive. Anxiety and fatigue may make you look to food or stimulants for your energy. When your breath is not deep enough to maintain the body systems, all of your life and behavior will be out of balance. Pranayama is the best medicine to balance this body.

This pranayama meditation helps to calm and focus the mind on your endeavors.

Kriya: Abdominal Strengthening
Meditation: Realize Your Power

This is a decent, but doable,  physical workout. It will strengthen the navel point, abdominal muscles, nervous system, digestive system and lower back. It will also improve circulation.

This meditation uses the mantra “Har” to strengthen the third chakra, the seat of your power. The movement of the hands clears and strengthens the energy around the heart center. The active prana mudra is said to be one of the most important mudras due to its ability to activate dormant energy within the subtle body, while balancing the elements of earth, water and fire within the physical body.  This mudra will also put you more in tune with the prana around you.

Kriya: Clearing & Balancing the Chakras
Meditation: Meditation on the White Swan

These are simple and familiar kundalini exercises that systemically move energy through the chakras creating balance in mind and body.

This meditation puts some pressure on the nervous system, clearing and purifying the body and mind to access and strengthen intuitive awareness. The meditation can be somewhat difficult in that it will put pressure on the body that will in turn challenge the mind. It will help the body learn an intelligent stress response. We can begin to train our mind to go into intuitive mode instead of fight or flight. This serves us in our life as it assists us in meeting challenges from an intuitive space vs an anxious place.

Kriya: No Impact Aerobics
Meditation: Chii-a Kriya: Surrounding yourself with protection.

This kriya gets the heart rate up, but is easy on the joints. It also works the glandular system.

This meditation is said to offer protection in the six directions with a moving mudra and mantra, Har, Haray, Haree, Wahe Guru
Har: Planting of a seed of an idea.
Haray: Taking action to bring the idea to fruition.
Hari: The creation
Wahe Guru: Recognizing the magic of that creation.

Chii-a is the Gurmukhi word for “six.” In this Kriya there are six sounds which affect the six directions: north, south, east, west, up and down. The moving mudra strengthens your magnetic field.

Kriya: Total Balance
Meditation: Breath of Ten

This is a great kriya that works all the body systems to keep you balanced, emotionally, mentally and physically. It is a good one to do for mental/brain fatigue so that you can accomplish whatever task is in front of you. This kriya balances the aura and electromagnetic field, stimulates the elimination of toxins, develops muscular coordination, and gives balance to the brain.

Breath of Ten is an old friend that we go back to time and time again for the benefits it gives us. Great for stress relief and adrenal health. Also strengthens our immune system.

Meditation: Sat Naam, Sat Naam, Sat Naam Jee, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru Jee Mantra

RAMADASA Sa Say So Hung

Da: energy of Earth
Sa: impersonal Infinity
Sa Say So Hung: Calling on the totality of the Universe and our merger with all that is.

Kriya: Disease Resistance Kriya
Meditation: Aap Sahaee Hoa mantra with Celestial Communication

Since about 70% of our immune system is housed in the gut…we will be working our digestion and the apana vayu (eliminating forces). This is a great way to avoid those spring colds!

Our meditation uses the mantra:

Aap Sahaaee Hoaa
Sachay Daa Sachaa Doaa
Har Har Har

It is said that chanting this mantra helps you navigate life without fear. The mantra is telling us that we are always protected. That we can take refuge in the Divine. Har is another name for the Divine, for God, the Infinite, etc.

Kriya: Meditation on the Self
Meditation: Meditation to Release the Past

In this kriya, we work to raise the kundalini energy quickly in order to purify and calm the mind. Then we direct the mind in the last posture which is a meditation for self-observation. Besides being excellent training for the mind, this kriya helps improve poor digestion. There are only four postures that we repeat a second time. It’s a powerful set!

The meditation will also take you deep into an observation of the self. It involves two pranayams and then a silent meditation.

The kriya does a beautiful job of opening up energy flow throughout the body. It’s a great morning kriya.

The meditation focuses its effects on the glandular system, the guardians of your health. Its effects are strong enough to help the system fight disease. It involves, breath suspension and segmented breath. A silent mantra can be used for the four count suspension and exhalation: SA TA NA MA: birth, life, death, rebirth…the cycle of life. On the two count suspension on the exhale, the mantra can be Wahe Guru.

Meditation: For the Arcline

This kriya is a maintenance set that creates a balanced flow of energy throughout the body and the mind.

The meditation, which uses the mantra, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Jio, strengthens the arcline. The arcline, more commonly known as the halo, is the nucleus of the aura. It extends from ear tip to ear tip and across the hairline. Women have two arclines, the second from nipple to nipple. The arcline serves as a shield. A strong arcline keeps you balanced, intuitive and clear in thoughts and action.
